I'm still here...

Well, it has been awhile since my last post. I guess it has been a lot of the "same ol', same ol'" stuff. I just got back from going to Charleston, SC for a few days. It was a lot of fun, and nice to get away. Only 2 more weeks of school until we a get a week off for Thanksgiving!

It's that time again....

Time to start getting back into school mode again. I have been up at school for the past couple of days, trying to get my room pulled back together again for another year. I got my outside wall finished, which is a major accomplishment! My little clubhouse turned out pretty cute once again, if I do say so myself.

A long drive for one day....

We left last Thursday at 3:27am for Middletown, OH. We drove to Peduca, KY the first day and spent the night there. The next day we made it through Cincinnati, and into Middletown by 4:30'ish. We spent Saturday at the Craig reunion in Farmersville, OH. We got up early to go eat breakfast with Grandpa and Bobbie, Aunt Barb and Uncle Charles, Aunt Judy and Sonya. We left from there to go to Camden to see Grandma Craig's gravesite, then on the road again, headed back for home. We stopped just outside of Louisville, KY and met up with Uncle Dave for a bite to eat, since he was on his way back from Nashville, helping Betsy and Dan move. When we got to Nashville, we met up with Betsy and Dan at Cracker Barrel. We drove a bit further, and spent the night somewhere in TN, between Nashville and Jackson. We got up on Monday and drove the rest of the way home, arriving at 6:00pm. All in all we travelled 2210 miles in 5 days and were in 7 different states, with 9 in a van!!!

The Results

And, it's official.... the mole was benign!! The doctor left me a voicemail yesterday with the lab results confirming what he thought... that it was benign. So, I spent the day out in the sun at the lake and am now suffering from a minor sunburn! =) hehe

It has been annihilated....

Well, what was here yesterday, is now gone today! Not sure if it looks any better though... of course, it was only 4 hours ago that the doctor started slicing on my leg... j/k'ing, he seemed to do a very good, quick job. It definately looks best covered with the bandaid!

Doctor, doctor... give me the news...

Well, I went to the doctor today... which, if you know me, you know that it is on RARE RARE occasion that I ever go to the doctor. I had him check out the "cancer" on my leg that has been there for awhile... like 2 or 3... or 6 years. He magnified it and said it looks like a blood vessel mole/blue mole that is most likely benign. He is going to remove it tomorrow in his office. They will send it off to the lab just to make sure though. He will freeze the area, cut it away as well as a small area around the perimeter, then put a couple of stitches in it and I should be good to go! I guess Drew has to stop making his list on how to spend the life insurance!!

My sister made me do it

My sister started a blog, and it made be create an account so I could add a comment to hers. Then, I was bored and started setting one of these up for myself. The concept is a little strange to me... you know, letting the whole world read your diary... what's up with that? I can't say that I have been much of a diary writer/journal keeper. So, this may be my first, and possibly, last post on here! ;-)
